8年前的今年我正在德國巴登巴登，驗收為兩位騰訊創辦人訂造的304APO雙筒折射鏡，之後便開車橫越瑞士前往我的夢想地列士敦士登親王國。

在愛好者的世界裡，單一台304APO折射鏡已是世界10大，兩台併在一起真的可以載入愛好者的史冊。大口徑雙筒鏡是一個很瘋狂的設計，目視解像度及集光力跟單筒鏡不同，會推翻愛好者對望遠鏡性能的認知。這鏡現位於深圳臨海的山上天文台，三片空氣分離式APO鏡頭採用了兩超級ED玻璃，f/7.5焦比為修正度及視場的最理想平衡，配合高水平加工讓兩鏡的能量集中度Strehl ratio達97%以上，也受惠於廣東沿海的理想視寧度可以實效1000倍目視觀測，就算在視寧度稍遜的晚上300倍以上已完勝我的203APO折射鏡。

2年後我進入科研領域，在某些項目的台址上動輒十多台30公分口徑f1.0超大光圈超級APO折射鏡，配合直驅赤道儀每晚不斷執行巡天任務，極高靈敏度系統在10秒曝光下馬頭星雲及巴納德圈已過曝，那些又是另一層次的設備，只是保密關係不能發報任何照片了。

不過我還是不會忘記，唸小學時已經常到大會堂圖書館找資料，嘗試捲製紙管及安裝老花眼鏡片製作望遠鏡，第一成功看星的興奮度讓我這條天文路一走便數十年。

This is the largest of its kind in the world, way surpass my own 203APO refractor even in nights of average seeing. 2 years later I entered the field of research equipment, a dozen of super fast 300-class APO at f/1.0 under a sliding roof for sky survey is common (photos are not allowed to share due to confidentiality). However, I will never forget the excitement when I was a child, viewing the sky the first time with my own made cardboard refractor telescope with spectacle lens, it's a journey of decades.
