Last Friday evening, the weather was favorable, and the astronomical telescope operation workshop was successfully held. Each participant was provided with an astronomical telescope and a smart telescope, and learned how to operate optical telescopes to locate stars using the star-hopping method, as well as how to take photos with smart telescopes, and they also observed the night sky at the Tai Mei Tuk Observatory of Galaxy Scientific Group. The next step will be to carry out observations according to the guidelines and submit reports for assessment toward the Bronze Award in Observation & Astrophotography Skills. Depending on the program content, the astronomy observation training may be arranged on a basis ranging from one telescope per participant to one telescope for every five participants.
