香港青少年天文探索計劃7月份工作坊繼續進行，7月22日的望遠鏡工作坊教授透鏡光學原理、成像公式、製作紙筒望遠鏡，日晷工作坊教授日影與時間關係、地理及開普勒定律造成的時差曲線、如何製作日晷等。之後學員會進一步改良或自製更高水平器材，並提交報告以考核器材工藝章。今晚則會在星河科研社大美督基地有望遠鏡操作工作坊，八月份會有更多活動，包括立體星象館工作坊、望遠鏡光學檢測工作坊及天文影像處理工作坊 https://yaa.hk/#events

The Hong Kong Youth Astronomy Exploration Initiative July workshops are continuing as scheduled. On 22 July, the Telescope Workshop covered the principles of lens optics, the thin lens imaging formula, and the construction of a simple cardboard tube telescope. The Sundial Workshop explored the relationship between shadows and time, the equation of time curve influenced by geography and Kepler’s laws, and the steps for building a functional sundial. Participants will then further refine or design more advanced instruments and submit a report for assessment under the Instrument Craftsmanship Certification. Tonight, a Telescope Operation Workshop will be held at the Galaxy Scientific Group’s Tai Mei Tuk Observatory base. In August, more activities will be offered, including a Digital Planetarium Workshop, a Telescope Optics Testing Workshop, and an Astronomical Image Processing Workshop. More details: https://yaa.hk/#events
