亞太地區國際天文學聯合會會議 APRIM 2026
星河科研社將於下週5月4至8日參與香港歷來最大天文盛事，在會展舉行的亞太地區國際天文學聯合會會議 APRIM 2026，屆時會有多位諾貝爾及邵逸夫奬天文學家出席，星河科研社(Galaxy)展位在主場中心，同時有邵逸夫奬(SHAW)、長春光機所(CIOMP)、平方千米陣望遠鏡(SKAO)等大型展位，亦有中國國家天文台(NAOC)、台灣中研院天文所(ASIAA)、澳洲聯邦科學與工業研究組織(CSIRO)、日本國家天文台北(NAOJ)、香港大學、理工大學等展位。屆時星河科研社會展出香港最大的32吋天文望遠鏡、最新的300口徑f/1.6攝星鏡(焦距480)、最近輕量化主鏡及高端直驅赤道儀，亦會介紹剛推出的香港青少年探索計劃 https://yaa.hk/

ASIA-PACIFIC REGIONAL IAU MEETING (APRIM 2026)
Galaxy Scientific Group will participate in APRIM 2026, the largest astronomy event ever held in Hong Kong, taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 4–8.
The conference will welcome multiple Nobel Laureates and Shaw Prize astronomers. Galaxy’s booth will be located at the main exhibition area, alongside major exhibitors including the Shaw Prize Foundation (SHAW), Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP), the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO), the National Astronomical Observatories of China (NAOC), Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ASIAA), Australia’s CSIRO, the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ), The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and others.
Galaxy Scientific Group will showcase:
- Hong Kong’s largest 32-inch astronomical telescope
- The latest 300mm f/1.6 astrograph (480mm focal length)
- A newly developed lightweight primary mirror
- A high-end direct-drive equatorial mount
We will also introduce the Hong Kong Youth Astronomy Exploration Initiative https://yaa.hk/
Public admission is available from the afternoons of May 6–8.
