正在南非建造測試，看來不錯的。科研跟科普不同，不用接待很多來賓或活動參加者，所以就算就是1米鏡，天文台也可以造得很細小，轉動、開關以至散熱等都有好處。
It is currently under construction and testing in South Africa, and the results look promising. Scientific research is different from public outreach — there is no need to accommodate large numbers of visitors or event participants. Therefore, even with a 1‑meter telescope, the observatory can be built relatively compact, which offers advantages in rotation, opening and closing, as well as thermal control.
