剛週五晚的沙田快閃活動很順利，參加者分別體驗了S50、S30及新抵港的Seestar S30 Pro，也用Celestron 8SE觀賞了月亮。感謝各位到場者參與。

不遠處我們在城門河畔也裝起了全港最大的0.8米反射鏡，快閃活動結束便過去。第二次星空測試，當晚調好了望遠鏡的光學及無線控制電腦指向及追蹤，這鏡的光學表現超越我的所有望遠鏡，包括TMB 254 APO、Celestron EdgeHD14、SkyWatcher Dob 20，可以正式投入星河科研社日後的各項天文活動。

Last Friday’s Sha Tin pop-up event went smoothly, with participants trying out the S50, S30, and the newly arrived Seestar S30 Pro, and enjoying lunar views through a Celestron 8SE. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Nearby at the Shing Mun River, we also set up Hong Kong’s largest 0.8 m reflecting telescope, which we visited after the event. During its second sky test, we fine-tuned its optical alignment and wirelessly controlled computerized pointing and tracking systems. Its optical performance exceeded all my other telescopes — including the TMB 254 APO, Celestron EdgeHD14, and SkyWatcher Dob 20 — and it’s now ready for upcoming Galaxy Scientific Group astronomy activities.
